Michael is a native New Yorker born in Brooklyn, raised in Queens, and now living on the Upper East Side. Michael holds a BA in History and Philosophy from SUNY Binghamton and a master’s degree from the School of Oriental and African Studies at the University of London. He is a proud Returned Peace Corps Volunteer and former Program Manager with the Jesuit Refugee Service in Thailand, which means he is comfortable with complexity, deadlines, and situations where details really matter.
